LOCAL 2393 would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to the family of Firefighter Patrick Joyce and the Yonkers Fire Department Local 628. Firefighter Joyce was a member of RESCUE CO. 1 and died in the line of duty operating at a 3 rd alarm structure fire on 10-2-09 in the City of Yonkers. REST IN PEACE BROTHER! Career Firefighters from Arlington, City of Poughkeepsie, Lagrange and Fairview attended the funeral for Yonkers Firefighter Patrick Joyce in the Riverdale section of the Bronx on Tuesday 10-6-09.
