The Arlington Professional Firefighters Association is 72 strong, and its members are dedicated to the finest service to our community. We are continually working to provide the best in Fire, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Prevention, Investigation and Rescue Services. The Association and its members are also involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Relay for Life, as well as the programs; Adopt-a-Highway, Toys for Tots, The Arlington Car Seat, and Firefighters of Hope. Local 2393 would like to congratulate Lieutenant Bohack and his wife Kara on their new baby boy, born on 2-1-12 at 1:31pm. He weighed 7lbs 8.5 oz and was 20" long.

Congratulations to Firefighter Hanlon and and his wife Tammy on the birth of their daughter Alexa on 1/19/2012. 8 lbs 1.2 oz 21 inches long.

Arlington was called to Pleasant Valley mutual aid with 32-14 for a structure fire on Gretnawoods Road on 1/14/12.

On Monday January 9th, Arlington was dispatched to a garage fire on Darrow Place. Units arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the garage.
