Suspected Chimney Fire leads to a Fire Under the Floor 11-16-10

On 11-16-10 at 8:16 pm, Arlington 3213, 16, 18 and 45 were dispatched to a report of a chimney fire on Fair Oaks Drive in the Station 3 area. 3214 cleared another alarm and responded in place of 3216. On arrival, crews investigated to find a fire under the floor in front of the fireplace. 1 handline was streched and crews went to work to open the floor and expose the fire. the fire was under control by 8:29pm and the building was turned back over to the home owner by the fire inspector by 11pm.
