Serious MVA off of South Road 11-16-10

On 11-16-10 at 1143 am, Arlington 3252, 17, 73 and 86 were dispatched to a report of a vehicle over an embankment. First crews (3273) arrived to find the occupant still inside, upside down, hanging from the seatbelt. Arlington firefighters assessed the situation and did an outstanding job of extricating the person from the vehicle in under 15 minutes. The patient sustained serious injuries and was transported ALS to St. Francis Hospital by Arlington 3273 and 86 where a trauma team was waiting in the ER.
