Probies Graduate Utica Fire Academy 11-25-09

Members of Local 2393 drove to the Utica Fire Academy in Utica, New York to see AFD's newest probationary firefighters graduate. The "PROBIES" went through a 14 week military style academy. In attendance were Arlington's Chief, Dave Roberts Sr. and Retired Firefighter Chip Grundon. Both men had the honor of awarding their sons with their badges during the ceremony. Probationary Firefighters Warner, Grundon, Garon, Dunderdale and Roberts are now enjoying some well earned time off before starting another 6 months of "on the job" training back at AFD. Congratulations, Well Done!
