Oil Truck vs Car on Rt 44 with oil spill 5-1-09

Arlington responded with 32-52,16, 71 and 89 to a 2 car mva on Rt 44. On dispatch units were notified that the accident involved an oil truck and that there was a spill. 1 patient was extricated from the passenger vehicle, while other firefighters worked on the oil truck. The Dutchess County Haz Mat Team and the DEC were called for assistance. The Town of Poughkeepsie Police also assisted with traffic control. Rt 44 was closed for several hours.
