Hurricane Irene 8/29 - 8/30, 2011

During Hurricane Irene the Arlington Professional Firefighters responded to over 300 calls for service. These alarms were a very wide range of incidents inculding water rescues, automatic fire alarms, an electrical fire, smoke in the basement, 2 mutual aid structure fires, a wall collapse, trees and wires down and flooding conditions. Arlington also had to deal with flooding at their Headquarters.
