FF Chip Grundon Retires after 21 Years of Service

On Monday, March 30th, Firefighter Chip Grundon wrapped up his 21 years of dedicated service to the people of the Town of Poughkeepsie by driving Engine 32-11 and Rescue 32-52. Chip also got to use the "Jaws of Life" on an auto accident during the afternoon. By evening Group 3 sat down to dinner with a few invited guests as friends popped in the fire station to bid Chip a happy retirement wish. FF Grundon will be remaining in the area for a short time, and then he and his family will be moving south to manage a campground. ( Grundon on the nozzle Dump Truck fire)
