Arlington Local 2393 supports Newburgh Local 589.

On 11-9-2009 Arlington Professional Firefighters attended a rally in The City of Newburgh at Newburgh City Hall to support Local 589 to fight firefighter layoffs. The city council wants to cut the current firefighting force due to budget constraints.
