ARLINGTON FIREFIGHTERS SAVE 19 MONTH OLD BOYS LIFE

The Arlington Fire Department is honoring four people Tuesday for saving the life of an infant.

Arlington Career Firefighters John Cox and David Roberts Jr., Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician Ken Muckenhaupt and Vassar College EMT student Lisa Evans will receive a life-saving award at the arlington firehouse on vassar road at 2 p.m

The boy was in seizures because of a 103 degree fever and went into cardiac arrest. He was given medications and CPR was performed. The boy was successfully resuscitated, had a short stay in the hospital, and was sent home a few days later.
