2nd Alarm Fire with Victim Rescued - Ridgewood Terrace - 3-3-09

3211, 13, 18, 45 (Groups 1 & 5) responded to a structure fire around 1030 hrs. on Ridgewood Terrace. Lt. Inglis, FF's Cerniglia, Rusnock & Robison pulled a victim to safety within minutes of first arriving. The victim was unconcious and unresponsive but still breathing ,she was found five feet inside the front door by the stairs. Firefighters searched the rest of the home with negative results. Crews chased small pockets of fire and needed to open up walls and the roof to vent and check for extension. A second alarm was struck bringing 3252 and mutual aid from Mobile Life, New Hamburg and LaGrange to the scene. Victim was flown to Westchester Medical Center by Helicopter. (Pictures by F.F.
