2nd Alarm Canterbury Apts- reported person trapped - 2/22/09

32-11,14, 46 (Group 3) were dispatched for smoke in the building at Canterbury Apts # 50. The resident in apt 50-B refused to leave because of heavy smoke in the hallway. Firefighters deployed the apt lay off of 32-11 to get through the long courtyard to the fire building. APFF (group 3) arrived on the scene and reported a working fire and struck a 2nd alarm. The second alarm brought Pleasant Valley's F.A.S.T Team to the scene as well as 32-52, 32-89,32-87, 32-72 ,and Lagrange 47-12. Firefighters assisted the resident of 50-B to safety.
