APFF and other Locals took part in the St. Patricks Day Parade in New York City on 5th Avenue. Arlington ,City of Poughkeepsie, Lagrange, Pleasant Valley and Fairview are just a few that were there.
The Arlington Professional Firefighters and there Families participated in the Heart Walk at Vassar College on March 14, 2009. The group of 50 was brought together by Firefighter Kangas.
This is the local's 4th year participating in the American Heart Association's heart walk. It's a great cause and a way to get out and join the community in helping others.
